Toe vriende my nooi om my 50ste verjaarsdag saam met hulle te gaan vier in die Kgalagadi nasionale park was my aanvanklike gedagte dat ek eerlikwaar nie weet hoe ek die tyd gaan omkry nie, mens se 50ste is per slot van sake 'n GROOT mylpaal. Ek onthou nog die eerste 5 kilometer nadat ons ingegaan het by die askam hek soos gister...daar was niks. Soos in niks. Net vlaktes op vlaktes met rooi sand en hier en daar 'n boom en my moed het half in my skoene gesak. Hoe op dees aarde gaan ek die volgende 7 dae omkry. Ek sien beweging in die verte...'n gemsbok...en wag, watse tipe voël is hierdie dan met die pragtige pers en seegroen kleure. Ek sit skielik kiertsregop, hier moet ek nou begin fyn kyk! Wat 'n ervaring! Na sewe dae is ek oortuig daar is geen mooier plek op aarde nie, die kalahari PRAAT met jou...sy reuk, sy lewe, sy droogte, sy mense, sy diere, sy plante...dit klou vas aan jou hart soos 'n bosluis op 'n skaap se oor in die suid-Vrystaat. En by my het hy nog nooit skiet gegee nie, klou vas vir sy lewe...en ek laat hom toe!

How to use your room mist
Hold the bottle upright and spray into the air, around the room, or lightly onto soft furnishings such as curtains, cushions and linen. Allow to dry naturally.
For a lasting scent, spray 2–3 times per application. Avoid spraying directly onto polished wood, leather, or delicate fabrics.
Keep out of reach of children and pets. Avoid contact with eyes. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
