Die son bak my krul hare soos kastaiings op die vuur. Dis spitsverkeer en nog minstens 5 kilometer huis toe. Hoekom, in hemelsnaam het ek gesê ek sal agter op die bakkie sit. My sussie en broers sit almal voor langs pa ingeprop met die aircon aan. My lippe is kurk droog. Ek weet ek het reeds die rooi skynsel van ‘n weskus kreef. Hoe gaan ek dit uithou? Aggenee… voor in die pad word alle karrre gestop. Dis ‘n “stop en go”. Ek klop aan die venster… ”ek wil binne sit!” roep ek, maar my broer steek net sy tong uit en draai die radio se volume knop harder.
Ek gaan lê plat op my rug. Die metaal van die bakkie brand my. Ek besluit om bo-op die sakke hout te sit. Ouch, splinters!
Na wat voel soos ure is ons uiteindelik by die huis. Ek spring af en hol direk swembad toe. Ma is besig met iets, sy staan met haar rug na my. Ek trek my skoene uit en maak ‘n bom in die swembad. Ek voel hoe my klere die yskoue water opsuig. Een, twee, drie bomme, en die res van die gepeupel wat voor gesit het is in die water. Ek vang iets pienk uit die hoek van my oog. Ek glo dit nie…ma is my hero! Reuse skywe pienk, sappige waatlemoen le en knipoog na my.

If your parcel hasn’t arrived within 14 days of your dispatch email, please contact us and we’ll follow up with our courier.

Uncap your diffuser
Unscrew the gold cap and remove the plastic seal. Keep the seal safely in case you need to store or move your diffuser.
Insert the reeds
Place all 10 reeds into the vessel through the opening at the top.
Flip your reeds immediately
This is the most important step. Flip all reeds once straight after inserting to start the diffusing process. Keep reeds away from furniture, skin and clothing as they will have oil on them — wash hands after.
Maintain weekly
Flip your reeds once a week to maintain a strong scent throw. Expect 4–6 months of fragrance before needing a refill.
Refill
Once empty, purchase a refill to reuse your beautiful vessel. Keep out of reach of children and pets.
