Die naam van hierdie reuk is geinspireer deur 'n sprokie uit my kinderdae, van 'n keiser wat gek was oor nuwe klere en daarom elke uur van die dag 'n nuwe uitrusting aangetrek het, en amper al sy geld spandeer het om mooi te lyk. Een dag daag twee bedrieërs op en beweer dat hulle die mooiste klere van sy vir die keiser kan weef, boonop met 'n spesiale ontmaskerings eienskap: as iemand dom, onnosel of ongeskik vir sy amp is, sal die klere vir hulle onsigbaar wees. Die keiser wat onmiddelik oortuig en die twee mans word voorsien van die mooiste sy en goue garing om vir hom bekleedsels te weef. Maar die twee skelms steek alles in hulle sak en maak asof hulle dag en nag drug besig is om te weef. Dood van nuuskierigheid om te sien hoe die klere vorder, gaan loer hy in by die produksie kamer... Maar o wee, hy sien niks! Maar dit erken kan hy tog nie, want dan is hy dom en onnosel en nie bevoeg om die keiser te wees nie! Uit vrees vir ontbloting sê hy niks! Hy laat die klere maak en hou parades in die strate asof hy ten volle geklee is! Almal maak asof hulle die klere kan sien, want almal is bang die waarheid oor hulle lewe sal uitkom! Terwyl hy so pronkerig vir die mense waai op die agterkant van sy koets het net 'n klein dogtertjie die waagmoed om te skree "die keiser is kaal"! Hierdie oulike storie met baie versteekte boodskappe is van spaanse herkoms en gekryf deur Hans Anderson in die vroee 1200's

Care Instructions
First burn: minimum 2 hours
On first light, burn until the wax melts across the full surface of the jar. This creates the burn memory and prevents tunnelling. It may take longer than 2 hours — be patient.
Trim your wick before every burn
Trim to approx 5mm before each use. This promotes an even burn, prevents mushrooming, and stops the inside of the vessel from going black. It also prolongs the life of your candle.
Don’t burn for longer than 4 hours at a time
Burning too long makes the jar very hot, reduces total burn time, and can damage the wick. If you love having a candle burning all day, rotate between two candles of a similar scent.
Keep away from children and pets
Always burn in a safe place, away from flammable materials, draughts and direct sunlight.
